Ok so at work today I had a fun little problem that was bugging me to practically no end.
We jsut got some new pretty Lenovo TP T500 laptops. They were being a bit annoying when it came to Excel files. They had a tendancy to crash whenever you doubleclicked on a file to open it that way. But if you opened it from the open file menu there was no problems.
After careful digging it seems that the problem is the bluetooth drivers doing something to the sendto menu item. Don’t know why this rocks out excel so bad.

Heres the important part..
Found the problem with 2003, it is also relate to the Addins from bluetooth, but this si a com addin not a Excel.
I install office 2007, next to 2003.
The problem with Excel in 2003 was still there ,
then I went in ==> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins
And change the LoadBehavior key from 3 to 0
Then restart excel 2003…and IT WORKS !
I did the above to the troubled PCs and suddenly I dont get the wonderful round of crashes.
