Du kan installere flash her bla bla bla.

That was my short message, now back to the sunbathing.

Nå men here goes

Hi
I know its been a couple of days since I let you guys know about this snowball’s forray into the hot sun :-P It seems that snowballs and sun dont mix well. Since we were last together I melted off an additional 2.3 Kgs bringing the grand total down up to 5.2 Kgs. Now the total snowball size is down to 145.8 Kgs.
I lost 900 Grams this last week, even though we went to a lovely wedding during the weekend, with all that that entails of drinking and eating and more drinking. This leads me to a little Rant about this whole diet thing. Where I go to get weighed and measured, they have a name for things like what I did during the wedding. They call it sinning, God I hate that, the religionising of the whole thing. Its not about being perfect all the time, there has to be room for something like a wedding and stuff like that. It wont kill your diet if you fall in once in a blue moon. What is imortant is that you don’t stay in the whole. When you are done with that one day not following the plan its about continuing the good trend you have been working on. So lets call it something else, lets call it a detaur or whatever. When I go to these meetings I come for positive reinforcement not to get told Im a sinner. I go to the Church of weightloss but dont expect me to become a rabid fanatic. Im gonna keep it positive and walk my middle road, following the idea of the “scriptures” but not believing in em like they were the words of “you know who upstirs/downstairs/all around us/in us/ whatever floats your boat“.
So keep it positive! Don’t kill yourself if you fall in and have a day of excess. They won’t hurt you if you don’t do it every day or regularly. Smile and enjoy your carrots again thinking about how much fun you had.

A while back I read about a geek hacking her asus eee pc so she could install a couple of USB items inside the shell of the machine. It just hit me how nice it would be if there was a standard internal USB form factor for laptops. Some way to install one or two very small appliances be it memory Bluetooth, hsdpa or whatever. Maybe combine it with an antenna built into the standard so the manufacturers of little “extras” wont have to worry about that part. All they have to do is fit into this USB slot. This could open up the laptop to customizations at a very affordable level.
By using USB it would just be a question of manufacturers adapting their current designs to fit inside the laptop. An example could be the 3G USB modems everybody and his brother seems to be using here in Denmark. How nice would that be to have invisible inside your eee or dell or whatever. So here goes ASUS please use this idea and you’ll get me to buy a eee. You could even build it into your motherboards so we wouldn’t have to have all kinds of stupid stuff sticking out of our PCs.
Well back to daydreaming

Hi all
Lately this noob has been walking around feeling a bit round on the edges. Lol lets call waddling like a duck walking shall we :-P Well the wife and me have decided to do something about it so we have joined a program here in Denmark called “Danske Vægtkonsulenter”. Its a strict program that aims to teach people to lose weight without giving up on your good stuff. This means that we can prettymuch chuck all our old recipes or start redoing them in “healthier” versions. The principle of the diet (they will kill me if they find out Im calling it that, its a lifestyle change….) is that you eat loads and loads of greens, meat and fruit. But you have to stay away from the carb foods like potatoes rice and the like. You can eat em but only in very very limited amounts. I get to experiment alot with recipes, which I love, so Im a semi happy guy except for my one big craving… Nice refreshingly cool wonderful brown sparkling caffeinated Coca Cola
Well so the startdata are
- Height 183 CM
- Weight 151 kg
Now we will see over time how it goes. I will try and put in my data here as I get weighed. So stay tuned for the snowball meltin. We are getting weighed tonight for the second time so we will see if all this hardship has an effect or if we ate rabbit food for a week for nothing!!

Hi again
Ive been thinking these last couple of weeks. As you might know I picked up that book “Keeping Found Things Found”, so I’m trying to figure out how I can make my daily PIM management easier. I work in IT, but when I look at my daily routines, I’m very much living in the 20th century. I honestly prefer doing things by hand. Note taking and idea cultivation is on paper. Paper lets my ideas flow easier. I read my books preferably from treeware because that’s easier to log around with me. The big problem from this paper based note taking is that they have a tendency to disappear in my otherwise digital world. Ive come to think that I have to find some tool that help me get the best of both worlds. Maybe it could also help me get some work done during my about 3 hours a day spent commuting to and from work.
- Short distance from thought to note/idea
- ability to do a QAD sketch if necessary
- Has to fit into my other digital tools
- Must have searchability built in ( I need to be able to get back to it later/much later
- Portability
- Preferably connected to the net/web
So it looks like Im in the market for a tablet PC of some kind. It will allow me to do all of the above. But of course its not enough to just get the PC, I need to learn to use it and get it to fit into my day and my routines.
If anyones got an idea for a good tablet please leave me a note.

As you might know, I’m a college dropout(Information Studies), now working in IT as a Systems Admin at a fair sized hotel. When I left college to pursue other, at that time more interesting things, I couldn’t really see the big picture in why we had to learn what they wanted us to.
Now I do, thanks to this book.
I keep feeling inspired about the management of my information. Both as PIM in my own department, but mostly also for my users. I can suddenly see some meaning in the way they manage their PIM. I as the IT department have to facilitate their professional PIM. I have to give them the tools to make sure they don’t lose stuff, but also so they don’t drown in information. Suddenly I have a much more nuanced view of my job. Being the geek who loves his tech stuff, can do everything to keep servers and computer running, is not really enough. I have to know my place in the business of managing information and information flow in the company.
This book could teach many programmers, much on how they can make their products more usable to the users. Make them understand some of how people look at the information being processed, stored, shared, pushed by the programs they write. We have to facilitate more styles of PIM than just our own, not everyone works like we do.
I have to stop myself, I just love this book and the ideas it keeps inspiring to pop up in my head.
There is so much for so many people in this book..
5/5 Noobs from me.
